Howard University Awarded Carnegie Foundation Grant to Build Inter-Disciplinary Initiative

The Hannon Group is secured by Howard University to create awareness and partners for the University’s new inter-disciplinary initiative on Democracy, Markets, Communications and Technology. The Initiative will bring together experts in various fields to discuss critical issues of government decision making, government transparency and the economic implications of broad Internet access. The Initiative will include two symposia which according to Howard, “will serve as the intellectual discourse and scholarly review of issues shaping the democratic ideals of market-based economies.”
